The Autism and Aspergers Support Group Inc.

"We are a volunteer parent run support group for people affected by Autism and Aspergers that meets monthly in Richmond and Burwood, NSW.  We have guest speakers, an extensive ASD specific library for members and activities for our parents and families that support our ideals of providing connections through the community and raising autism awareness."

*Autism Spectrum Australia (ASPECT) provides free advice for families with children who have Autism.  They also provide early intervention services and have schools specifically designed for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.  They can diagnose, help with therapy and provide resources as well.

Toys and products for children with special needs

 

The Toy Bug is the product of a Mum’s search for toys that would keep her son’s (who has Autism) attention and help with his development.  Through the Toy Bug, she is sharing a wonderful range of educational and fun toys for children with ASD, helping them to learn as they play.

Myyoungchild.org offers online stories about values for children ages 3-7.  This site is ideal for parents and educators who want to teach morals, ethics and social skills to their young children.
